It is up to you, a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit holder, to stay current on Utah law and the laws of the other States in our Union. Some states recognize both the Standard Utah Concealed Firearm Permit and the Provisional permit (18-20 years old), while some only recognize the Standard permit, and others recognize neither permit. Before traveling to another state with the intent of concealing a firearm, please review the Utah BCI Reciprocity page that lists the most current status of Utah’s reciprocity with other states.
